Have you ever felt as if you were on a roll?
Did you find things you were doing were only leading to even more and exciting opportunities?
Have you felt as if the world was coming to meet you?
It’s you ‘at one’ – for want of a better word – with the world.
I have been really fortunate recently (and I am so so grateful for it) that this appears to be happening to me!
Last week my husband and I came back from a lovely break in Europe visiting family, going to a wedding and generally having a very relaxing time. Yep jet lag played with our body clocks like you wouldn’t believe, but we just saw it as a time to get things done ( admittedly not much was done whilst we were away!).
I spent one morning just scribbling away, getting all the things to do out of my head. Once I did that I formulated a plan as to how to get them all done. In the meantime, a new plan was hatching and soon became apparent. I started seeing the woods for the trees.
A few days later I spoke to my business mentor and that skyrocketed some of the stuff I was planning out. I started scribbling a new marketing campaign. Feeling like I was on this massive roll, building extraordinary momentum, an email arrived.
We both sat and watched the video that was with it and took action accordingly. We both knew in our souls that what we were doing was going to just kick our businesses out of the ball park.
In amongst of all of this activity we received an offer on one of our properties and we’ve accepted it. Negotiated shorter settlement and it’s all ticking along.
Just yesterday I had another great conversation with my mentor and I know that working with him is going to be paid over and over in multiples. I also know that in the longer term, I will be able to pay it forward and really help other people.
I don’t want you thinking for a second that this happens everyday. In fact just last month I felt as if I was wading through a swamp and it was all too hard. That’s really why you haven’t heard from me in a while.
I have to be honest, somethings that I planned and paid for months ago, without really knowing it turned out to be perfectly timed. I have needed to get lost in the maze in order to see what is really out there.
The one thing I can tell you is opportunities like this don’t happen all the time, however you can make them happen more often. I suggest you grab them when you can providing it will be something that aides your future growth and progress. I am NOT telling you to just leap out into the unknown dropping everything for the shiney new object that has appeared on your doorstep. You will only REALLY know if you can feel it is the right thing to do.
All of this – the momentum, the being on a roll and seeing all these opportunities in front of you – it’s called Synchronicity. And it is an awesome feeling.
If you are feeling swampish like I was, then take a break from it, clear your head, don’t think about it and come back with renewed and refreshed vigour. It will pay you in dividends.
I know what I am telling you isn’t new, it may just be that other perspective you need right now.
If you want to know more about any of this then here’s a link to the person that taught me most of what I know www.maverickmarketingandmindset.com
To your continued success (and I would love to hear about them!).
